SeedhaPay

Terms of use · draft of 24 October 2026, under review by counsel

Plain terms for a plain service.

These terms apply to seedhapay.in, its pay pages and tools, and the signed-in app. By using them you agree to these terms. The bank API has its own terms. SeedhaPay ("we") is based in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh; the legal entity operating the service will be named here before public sign-ups open.

1. What SeedhaPay is, and is not

SeedhaPay turns the details of a bank account into a code with check digits, a QR and a link, shows a page that lets a payer copy those details into their own bank's app, and, for signed-in users, matches credits from an uploaded bank statement to invoices. We are not a bank, a payment system, a payment aggregator or a wallet. We never hold, receive, route or settle money. Every payment is made by the payer, from the payer's bank, to the account the payer chooses, under that bank's terms. We cannot make, stop, reverse or refund a payment.

2. Your account and your codes

You may register only bank accounts that you hold or are authorised to collect into, and only in the name of an organisation you are entitled to act for. You confirm that the details you enter are correct. A code is derived from those details; if they are wrong the code is wrong, and payments made on it are the payer's and yours to sort out with the banks. Keep your mobile number and signed-in devices under your control; you are responsible for what is done from your account until you end a session or tell us it is compromised.

3. What "verified" means

"Verified" on a pay page means that on the date shown, a ₹1 credit to the account succeeded and the account-holding bank reported the name shown. It confirms that the account exists and whom the bank says it belongs to. It does not confirm who runs the business, that the business is what it claims, or that goods or services will be delivered. A payer should still check that the name is the party they mean to pay, as their own bank also asks them to.

4. Reports and suspension

Anyone may report a code. We may mark a reported code with a warning, ask you for evidence that the account is yours, and remove a code or close an account that is used to impersonate another business, to collect for an unlawful purpose, or in breach of these terms. We will tell you unless the law prevents it.

5. Fees

Making codes, pay pages and stickers is free. There is no fee per payment on any plan, ever. Paid plans, when they open, will be described on the plans page with their price and what they include; you pay for them in advance and may stop at the end of any paid period. We will give thirty days' notice of a price change.

6. The format and the marks

The Seedha code format is published openly and anyone may implement it. The names Seedha and SeedhaPay, the logo and the "Seedha Verified" badge are our trademarks (applications pending) and may be used only as our trademark policy allows. Your data stays yours; you give us only the permission needed to run the service for you.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service up and the information on it correct, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a payment made to an account other than the one intended, for losses that follow from a payer's or a bank's act or omission, for indirect or consequential loss, or for more in total than the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

8. Ending

You may close your account at any time from Settings, and your codes stop resolving. We may end the service with ninety days' notice, or your access at once for a serious breach of these terms.

9. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Durg, Chhattisgarh have jurisdiction. When these terms change we will show the date here and tell signed-in users; continuing to use the service after that is agreement to the new terms. Contact: hello@seedhapay.in.
